The last themed day of the Asian Film Festival 2024 was dedicated exclusively to Vietnam. On Tuesday, April 16, starting at 4:45 p.m. at the Cinema Farnese ArtHouse, the protagonist of the screen is Vietnamese cinematography, which is increasingly making a name for itself worldwide, thanks also to the works we have proposed in this edition: Oasis of now by Chia Chee Sum, Drowsy City by Dung Luong Dinh and especially Inside the Yellow Cocoon Shell by Pham Thien An, already awarded the Camera d’or at Cannes. For the occasion, the director himself spoke with a video message of introduction and greeting to the audience in Rome. The initiative is in collaboration with the Embassy of Vietnam in Italy, Ambassador Duong Hai Hung spoke greeting the audience and introducing the evening.
